Meet Dan

Highlights: Been in Outlander, Last Kingdom and House of the Dragon!

Hi, my name is Danny, and before becoming a tour guide, I worked in care for many years, mainly with youth in residential settings and with broken families. Outside all that, I've always been really outgoing and love the outdoors. I had a real passion for travel, which has led me to see many places and have adventures all around the world, including in my own beautiful country, Scotland.

One thing I love about this job as well as travelling was connecting with people on different levels from all over and being a tour guide now combines them both and the joy I get to share with others showing them around my amazing country. I'm passionate about Scotland, its culture, our beautiful landscapes, and our amazing history. As you can see, I'm a bit Viking like...don't worry, I might look like I'd swing an axe at you, but I'm more likely to swing a couple of jokes your way and love to laugh n have fun.

My look has helped me, though, to gain some amazing roles on film and TV. When I'm not touring, I'm usually fighting away on set and have been privileged to work on some amazing sets such as Outlander, Last Kingdom, and House of the Dragon, amongst many others.

I look forward to touring around Scotland with you and showcasing all it has to offer.
