By joining our tours, you acknowledge that while Tartan Viking is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience, there are inherent risks associated with travel and group activities. By clicking "Confirm" or "Agree," either on our website or our WeTravel booking page, you accept full liability for any personal injury or accident that may occur during the tour. Tartan Viking cannot be held responsible for property damage, personal injury, or any other claim arising from a guest's actions or interactions. We encourage all guests to exercise caution and respect the safety guidelines provided by our team to ensure a smooth and safe tour experience for everyone.
Cancellation Policy
HOLDING CREDIT -
For those who do not wish to or are unable to travel and would like to postpone to a future date, any payments will be held for the next 24 months. This will then be held against any future tour, allowing the tour to go ahead at a later date. To reiterate, 100% of any tour rate payment made can be used within 24 months’. Any lost accommodation costs may be required to be repaid, and a 20% accommodation fee will be charged for re booking.
REFUND REQUEST –
For those wishing a refund on their tour at any point, a 20% administration charge will be made for the cancellation.
LAST MINUTE CANCELLATION
In addition to the 20% admin fee, the following charges will apply to tours cancelled within 90 days of departure.
• 0% charge 90 days before tour departure.
• 15% charge for cancellations 45-90 days before tour departure.
• 20% charge for cancellations 15-45 days before departure.
• 50% charge for cancellations 15 days or less before departure.
ON TOUR POLICY
If for any reason client is on tour & decides not to stay in accommodation or engage in activities which were previously booked or agreed to & paid for, we are not obliged to give a refund for said accommodation or activities. If we are able to get a refund from the supplier of said accommodation or activity, despite last minute cancellation by client, we will return this refund to the client (minus our 20% admin fee) upon request. If supplier cancels accommodation or activities out with the client’s control, then we shall pass on the refund returned to us from the supplier with no 20% admin fee incurred & assist in re-booking alternatives to the best of our ability.
LAST MINUTE CANCELLATION - Hosted Tours Only
In addition to the 20% admin fee, the following charges will apply to tours cancelled within 90 days of departure.
• 10% charge more than 90 days before tour departure.
• 20% charge for cancellations more than 45-90 days before tour departure.
• 30% charge for cancellations 15-45 days before departure.
• 50% charge for cancellations 15 days or less before departure.
